YOUR REPRESENTATIVES

YOUR REPRESENTATIVES
the JMJP strongly believes in the inclusion of the youth in governance as India needs the progressive ideology that the youth of the country hold. on the basis of the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria, competent youth leaders will be selected to be your representatives.
the JMJP’s progressive political opinion is one that is in favour of providing representation to all sections of society. it is thus that the JMJP promotes the representation of persons from all sections of society as its party members.
the JMJP assures the people of India the disqualification of persons convicted of specified offences as mentioned in the Sections 8, 8A and 9 of the representation of the people act, 1951. the JMJP national core committee assures that its state committees will refrain from recommending persons with criminal records for the elections

YOUTH LEADER RECRUITMENT PROGRAMME

YOUTH LEADER RECRUITMENT PROGRAMME
the contribution of the Indian youth is necessary for true progress in our country. today, the youth is not only the largest age group in indian society but also carries the burden of india’s future.therefore, in 2005, the JMJP initiated the youth leader recruitment programme (YOULEAD).  young people above the age of 18 and who have passed their tenth standard examination are eligible to apply for a special party membership and are known as ‘youth leaders’. they will be mentored by the senior leaders of the party and trained in national affairs. since this will be a selective opportunity, the applicants with a record of social service will be preferred.
the youlead programme has been a major success and point of differentiation for the jmjp. in the 2012 general elections, there are 14 election candidates who were part of the youlead programme between 2005 and 2007.

INNER PARTY DEMOCRACY

INNER PARTY DEMOCRACY
a nation of 110 crore people needs to be well represented. in line with the principles of our democracy, this representation cannot be decided upon solely by a party high command. since its inception in 1998, the JMJP has been a strong believer in, and has implemented with success, a greater amount of inner party democracy compared to other political parties.
we, at the JMJP choose your candidates democratically. in our party, an internal election precedes the constituency elections. the JMJP national core committee decides to nominate eligible candidates per constituency to stand for elections within the party. these nominations are based on the recommendations of the JMJP state committees. the winners of the JMJP elections receive election tickets to contest, and be the people’s hope for change and the party’s candidate for progress.

RESERVATIONS

RESERVATION
our constitution grants equality for all Indians. however, it is generally understood that this equality refers to equality among equals. in the context of the inequalities present in Indian society today, the JMJP follows a policy of positive discrimination to bridge these inequalities. the method of positive discrimination used will be that of reservations. considering the importance of primary education in our lives, there will be a reservation of upto 33% seats in all schools for SC’s, ST’s, and OBC’s. the percentage of reservation will be determined by the demography of the area. till such a time that the reservation in schools isn’t considered fully functional and implemented effectively across the country, reservations have to be present in colleges and institutions of higher learning as well. this reservation can be withdrawn progressively once the system of school reservation is working proficiently. if according to the findings of a government commission, a certain community is found to be substantially lesser developed, then this policy of reservation can be applied in favour of that community. this reservation will only be applicable in the area that the commission recommends. thepercentage of reservation will again depend on the demography of the area.

POLICIES OF CHANGE

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
in our country today, there is a strong financial and social divide. thus, even though the gdp growth rate is high, this growth cannot be called completely inclusive. in light of this inequality, corporate social responsibility (CSR) is strongly encouraged by the JMJP. csr is the process of companies contributing towards societal development not just through their products, but also through positive social service and welfare activities, especially for the lesser privileged sections of society.
The janhit mein jaari party proposes the formation of the corporate social responsibility department in the government of India. this csr department shall issue or award a standard CSR MARK to companies that have effectively been carrying out csr activities with proficiency. the onus of applying for this csr mark is on the company and the mandate of checking whether the csr is indeed effectively carried out or not lies with the csr department, govt. of India. even after awarding the csr mark, there will be regular checks on whether the company has been continuing their welfare activities. if not, the csr mark will be withdrawn.
the csr mark will improve consumer goodwill for a company by giving it a socially concerned and positive image. it will enhance the brand image by lending respectability to the company.
